These Rules and Regulations are in addition to the General Promotion Rules

Win a WPT Celebrity Invitational Seat promotion Official Rules and Regulations

(“Promotion”) Begins on January 1st 2010, continuing thereafter until promotion is altered or cancelled at the sole discretion of WPTAPL.

ELIGIBILITY:
Must be a WPTAPL member and legal residents of Canada 21 years of age or older, except where prohibited. Promotion is not open to employees of World Poker Tour Amateur Poker League, or their immediate family members, or to employees or immediate family members of any WPTAPL affiliated entity, advertising or promotional agency or sponsor. This Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.  Void where prohibited.

HOW TO PATICIPATE:
All eligible WPTAPL members in Canada who qualify for the WPTAPL Canadian National Championship will compete for the first place prize of a seat in the WPT Celebrity Invitational event. Seat is good for entry into the next WPT Celebrity Invitational event offered, typically being the following year.

WPTAPL awards WPT Celebrity Invitational through the Quarterly Online Rewards Tournament (QORT) and through the World Poker Tour Amateur Championship (WPTAC). ALL WPTAPL members are eligible to win the min of 5 seats that are awarded at the WPTAC. To participate in the WPTAC member must qualify by winning a Venue Series Championship (VSC), winning a satellite tournament on ClubWPT or qualifying through a WPTAC Affiliate League.  A maximum of 4 WPT Celebrity Invitational seats will be awarded through the QORT as bonus prizes.  Only MyAPL Rewards upgraded members are eligible to win bonus prizes. The WPT Celebrity Invitational Event takes place in LA at the Commerce Casino in the spring of each year.  This coveted event is by strict invitation only and is a tour highlight for WPT and has been for many years. WPTAPL is one of the ONLY ways to win a seat. The only other way to get into this event is to purchase a $25,000 Champions event seat and then WPT will invite you to the Celebrity Invitational.  The Invitational boasts a $200,000 prize pool and a max participation of 400 players but, those players are some of the hottest names in poker, sports and Hollywood!  It is sure to be the time of your life!

STANDARD PRIZES:
No prize substitution or cash redemption, except at WPTAPL's sole discretion or as otherwise provided herein. WPTAPL reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize becomes unavailable. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Any taxes are the responsibility of the winner.

PRIZE CLAIMS:
Winners will then be contacted no later than 30 days prior to tournament date from a representative of WPT or WPTAPL in regards to travel arrangements and itinerary. Winners may be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and a liability/publicity release, and return the affidavit to WPTAPL within 14 days of date notice is sent, or prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner. If prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner. No more than the advertised number of prizes will be awarded.

GENERAL RULES OF PARTICIPATION:
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the determinations of World Poker Tour Amateur Poker League, which shall be final. Unless prohibited by law, entrants agree to allow use of their name, voice, city/state of residence, photograph, and/or likeness for advertising and/or trade and/or any other purpose in any media or format now or hereafter known without further compensation, permission or notification.

By participating, entrants release and hold harmless WPT Enterprises, Inc., its parent, subsidiaries, and affiliated companies, World Poker Tour Amateur Poker League and its officers, directors, employees, licensees, representatives and agents from any and all liability, loss, injury or death to entrant or any other person, including, without limitation, damage to personal or real property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize or participation in this Promotion.

In accepting the prize, the winner, and any guest(s), acknowledges that World Poker Tour Amateur Poker League may not be held liable for any loss, damages or injury associated with accepting or using this prize(s).

Participants assume all risk of loss, damage, destruction, delay or misdirection of materials/mail/e-mail submitted to WPTAPL. WPTAPL and its affiliated companies and agencies are not responsible for printing, distribution or production errors and may rescind, cancel or revoke this promotion based upon any such error without liability and at their sole discretion. All federal, state and local laws apply.
